Q1: Is PVC label film recyclable?
A: Traditional PVC labels can complicate PET bottle recycling streams because PVC has a different melting point and can contaminate recycled PET. For better recyclability, PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene) films are increasingly recommended. We also supply PP/PE label films.
Q2: What is the difference between glossy and matte finish?
A: Glossy: Provides a shiny, vibrant look that makes colors pop, often used for premium products. Matte: Offers a non-reflective, sophisticated appearance, reduces glare, and feels smooth to the touch.
Q3: Can PVC labels be used for products stored in refrigerators or freezers?
A: Yes, PVC films have good low-temperature flexibility and adhesive performance, making them suitable for products stored in chilled or frozen conditions.
Q4: How do I choose the right adhesive?
A: Permanent Acrylic: Standard for most applications. Water-based Acrylic: More environmentally friendly. Solvent-based Acrylic: Stronger initial tack and chemical resistance. The choice depends on the container material (HDPE, PET, glass) and surface energy. We provide guidance.
Q5: What is the MOQ?
A: Standard MOQ for custom-printed labels is 10,000 linear meters (per design). For blank film rolls, MOQ is 500 kg or 5 rolls.
Q6: Do you offer custom printing and cutting services?
A: Yes, we have partner converters who can provide full-service solutions: flexographic/digital printing, die-cutting, and slitting to your specific label dimensions and design.
